For as long as I can remember, there's been a horse at the centre of my world.
Mine has been there for over seventeen years now. Seventeen years of muddy boots, early mornings, long rides, quiet moments, big dreams, and all the little in-between moments that somehow become the ones you remember most. He is more than a horse to me. He is one of the great loves of my life.
I once walked past a shop window and saw a horseshoe necklace. It was beautiful, and for a moment I thought, I want that. But I didn't buy it. It stayed with me, though. And eventually I realised why.
It wasn't his hoof. It could have belonged to any horse. And I didn't want just a horseshoe. I wanted a little piece of him. Something that carried our story, that I could wear close, because after all these years, he is woven into so much of mine.
So I decided to make one.
Not a horseshoe.
Not a symbol of a horse.
His hoof.
That little idea became frm___studios. And I know I'm not the only one.
There are girls who have grown up alongside their horses. Who have spent years building a partnership that's hard to explain to anyone who hasn't felt it. Horses that carried us through childhood, through heartbreak, through the ordinary days that turn out to matter most. And sometimes, you just want to keep a little piece of that close.
Something that isn't generic. A piece that belongs to your story, made from the shape of your horse's hoof and turned into something you can wear every day.
Because at the heart of it, frm___studios isn't really about jewellery. It's about the bond behind it.

How do I order and pay?
Send an enquiry through the form and we'll reply within two days to begin. Once your design is confirmed, we'll send an invoice payable by EFT or PayShap. A deposit secures your place; the balance is due before your piece ships.
How long does it take, and how is it delivered?
Each piece is made by hand, so allow around four to six weeks from confirmed design to completion. We ship within South Africa by insured courier, with tracking. Delivery is charged at cost based on your location and added to your invoice. International delivery can be arranged on request.
Can I return or exchange it?
Every pendant is cast from your own horse's hoofprint and made to order, so it cannot be resold and is not eligible for return or exchange. Each piece is a handcrafted interpretation rather than an exact replica, and small natural variations are part of its character. If anything arrives faulty or damaged, we'll always put it right.
What do you do with my information?
We only use the details and photographs you send to create your pendant and to stay in touch about your order. We never sell or share your information, and we keep it only as long as needed. In line with POPIA, you may ask us to see, correct, or delete your details at any time.
The short version of our terms
Prices are in South African Rand and may change over time. Each piece is handmade, so small natural variations are part of its character. By placing an order you agree to a deposit, to us using your photograph to make your piece, and to the made-to-order terms above. frm___studios remains a small independent studio, and we'll always talk things through with you personally.
